Trackspeed1 athletes receive treatment with generous discount, and there have been exceptional circumstances that have led to still further reductions after individual approaches through me. John is based at Battersea Park on Tuesdays and Fridays, and runs his own clinic with colleagues in Guildford the rest of the week.

Trackspeed1 were immensely privileged to secure the services of Sports Therapist Greg' Funnell SRMT MSMA for their pre-season training camp in Florida, USA.  Greg' quickly developed a vital source of support for the squad's top athletes, including world number one over 100m in 2010, David Bolarinwa, former Olympian and World Cup gold medallist Dwayne Grant, and European Gold medallist James Ellington.

Greg's approach and depth of knowledge quickly became an integral part of these athletes' preparations for a crucial summer season.  It should not be forgotten that experienced athletes such as those named, have worked with many physio's in their time, and their hugely positive testimonies to Greg's priceless contribution in Florida underlines just what sort of asset he was.

Trackspeed1 are in the process of negotiating with Greg' a permanent link with the squad along with existing therapist Lucy Eggleton, who has tirelessly worked with the group at Crystal Palace weekly throughout 2010/11, having supported them in Florida a year ago.

Coach John Powell said: "Greg' was one of the best we have ever dealt with, and the testimony to his efforts is that every last one of the athletes want him back.  All I have to do now is secure some funding to cover his time which won't be easy, but you can't let expertise like this slip through your fingers.  We will manage it somehow.""
