Mishael was only in the UK three days before he presented himself to Trackspeed1 coach John Powell at Crystal Palace, asking for high level coaching for the ensuing year he was to spend in the country. His 400m hurdles personal best of 52 seconds places him high up the pecking order, and sees John searching through old schedules from the days of Jamie Quarry, Austin Ferns and Nangie Ursell to develop a programme for him. This said, he will be an excellent addition to the 400m group including Matt Threadgold and Omari Carr-Miller, and he will be a great training partner over the hurdles with another new TS1 recruit, Ed Harrison.
