   U23         400m          Regional level

Matt is currently a student at Loughborough University, and an established 400m hurdler, but has been frustrated by injury of late - an issue that has led to him adopting the flat event this season and next. His best lap time was almost beaten at the British League fixture in Windsor on 31st July after a month's work with Trackspeed1, but coach John Powell is more than optimistic that, if his routine allows, some work during the winter period at the Palace will see him well down into the 48's next year and beyond!
