Trackspeed1 USA Kobie is based in Boston, USA , and is a Harvard graduate from the class of 2002, a year before Trackspeed1's former Olympic sprinter Chris Lambert graduated. That is how coach and athlete met, although Kobie's new-found and very challenging career has hampered his training efforts since. Coach and athlete hook up 3-4 times a year, and still have hopes of him achieving what he failed to at Harvard.

Described by coach John Powell as a massive talent that hasn't come close to his best due mainly to professional commitments, although some concentrated workouts could see him heading down through the 47s into 46-point territory.
